The Heart Behind Unveil México

IMG-20250407-WA0008.jpg

My goal with Unveil México is simple but profound: to share the beauty of Mexican culture with the world 🇲🇽 — from the heart ❤️, with honesty and emotion.

Through my cultural experiences, I want you to live our traditions not as a tourist, but as a friend, because I truly believe the best way to get to know a country is not just by seeing its places, but by spending time with its people 🤝.

🎨 Every figure you decorate, every story I share with you, and every material you touch has a real and deeply Mexican origin.

🧵 Over 90% of the materials I use are purchased directly from artisans, with no middlemen.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Four Mexican artisan families receive fair and consistent income thanks to this project.

💀 One of them, in particular, used to make most of their sales during October and November, for Día de Muertos season; the rest of the year, sales were very low and they had to take temporary jobs to get by.

🌞 Today, thanks to this workshop, they can rely on more stable income throughout the year.

📉 But this journey started in a very different way...

During the pandemic 😷, I tried to attract customers to my bar by offering Mexican craft workshops — something I’ve always been passionate about.
💔 The bar didn’t survive… but from that moment, something even more meaningful was born: a way of life that now fills my soul.
Since then, I’ve pushed forward with all my heart. Even though Unveil México is still not profitable, I keep it going while working two or even three               jobs at once💪, because I know there are artisans who count on me — and because every time someone joins a workshop, we send a little piece of             Mexico out into the world ✈️.

🌍 With every workshop, I’ve had the joy of meeting new friends from all around the world.
Wonderful people who, with their curiosity have allowed me to share what I love most.
I’m deeply grateful for every friendship 😊 that has blossomed among paintbrushes, laughter, and colors.

🏖️ Today, many people from around the world live in Puerto Vallarta —which is wonderful, because it truly is a beautiful place— but for Mexicans, life             here is becoming more and more expensive.

💵 Competing with foreign-owned businesses, especially those focused on tourism and backed by U.S. dollars, is simply something we can’t keep up                with.
Just look around: most of the restaurants in tourist areas are foreign-owned or controlled by the cartel, and most Airbnb experiences and similar                 offerings are hosted by foreigners or owned by companies with foreign leadership.

🌟 Thanks to those who choose to live this experience, I can continue living in this paradise and sharing what I hold most dear: my culture, my roots, and         my desire to connect with kind souls from around the world.

🙏 Thank you for being here.
🌷 Thank you for being part of this.
